Refund policy

At Doux Cocon, you have 30 days from receiving your order to return an item free of charge. This period includes your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, which we extend to 30 days.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If your order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Doux Cocon, Returns, Burgemeester de Geusstraat 65, 5146 EA Waalwijk, the Netherlands, without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Free returns within 30 days

In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, you can return an item up to 30 days after receiving it. Returns are free and we refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Between day 15 and day 30, this return is a commercial offer from Doux Cocon. It applies to complete, unused items in good condition that can be resold. This offer is in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them in any way.

How to return an item

  1. Email us at info@douxcocon.fr with your order number and the item or items you want to return. You can also use the model form below.
  2. We send you a prepaid return label and shipping instructions.
  3. Pack the item carefully, in its original packaging if possible, with all accessories.
  4. Drop off the parcel with the carrier shown on the label and keep your proof of postage.

Once we have received and checked the item, we confirm your refund by email.

Damaged or defective item, or wrong order

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us at info@douxcocon.fr, ideally with a few photos. We will offer you a replacement or a refund free of charge.

Please report transport damage as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery, so that we can file a claim with the carrier. This period does not limit your rights under the statutory guarantees, which are described in our terms and conditions of sale.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To change an item, return it free of charge using the steps above and place a new order.

Personalised items

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as an item with a name.
